DESCRIPTION:The Sunday service starts at 11.00am and usually finishes around 12.30pm when there is an opportunity to get together and talk over coffee\,tea and biscuits. \nOur services have a relaxed feel. They begin usually with a time or worship. Our worship is a mix of modern worship music with some older worship songs featuring too. We encourage people to freely express themselves in worship and we encourage the gifts of the Spirit to be in operation in the worship and the service generally. After worship someone teaches\, they may be one of the senior church leadership team\, a gifted teacher within the congregation or an invited teacher from outwith the church.. \nOur children stay through our worship time and are very much encouraged to be a part of it. Twice a month we have Sunday school or something for them to do for the rest of the service. Children who want to\, can stay in the service\, as long as they are not too disruptive. If a child didn’t want to attend Sunday school\, but finds it hard to stay reasonably quiet in the service\, or is too young for Sunday school\, we have an adjoining room where they could play or draw while their parent could listen to the service through a provided speaker. \nClick here for for more details.

SUMMARY:Free Christian Life And Witness Course (7pm at Kirkstyle Baptist Church in Carluke)
DESCRIPTION:The Christian Life and Witness Course helps Christians grasp key biblical principles that form a solid foundation for their faith. Using Scripture to answer common questions\, the training team leaders show how to build a victorious Christian life and share the abundance of that life with others. \nThe Christian Life and Witness Course is open to anyone age 13 and older; however\, teens are encouraged to attend the youth evangelism training called Pursuit. Classes are taught by BGEAC instructors at various locations. \nFollowing the Christian Life and Witness Course\, many participants will have the joy of leading people to Christ for the first time. Completion of the Christian Life and Witness Course\, and submission of an acceptable application\, qualifies people to serve as counselors at BGEAC events. Those who attend the course\, however\, are not obligated to be a counselor at a BGEAC event. \nIn addition to the easy-to-follow lesson presentations\, home assignments deepen the learning experience. Course attendees complete a short Bible study and memorize key verses. This comprehensive approach deepens the Christian faith of those who attend. \nFor more information\, please email info@bgea.ca.

We encourage people to freely express themselves in worship and we encourage the gifts of the Spirit to be in operation in the worship and the service generally. After worship someone teaches\, they may be one of the senior church leadership team\, a gifted teacher within the congregation or an invited teacher from outwith the church.. \nOur children stay through our worship time and are very much encouraged to be a part of it. Twice a month we have Sunday school or something for them to do for the rest of the service. Children who want to\, can stay in the service\, as long as they are not too disruptive. If a child didn’t want to attend Sunday school\, but finds it hard to stay reasonably quiet in the service\, or is too young for Sunday school\, we have an adjoining room where they could play or draw while their parent could listen to the service through a provided speaker. \nClick here for for more details.
